Clinical pharmacy

The pharmacy prepared about 12,034 chemotherapy session during the year 2023. Since 2005 until now, the pharmacy has prepared about 171,140 chemotherapy sessions.

The pharmacy contains 2 Cytosafe devices, in which doses of chemotherapy are prepared, which are delivered in syringes ready for injection to the patient, indicating on each syringe the name of the patient and the type of medicine.

• The cost of medicines is 60 million pounds annually.
